Homework

Our Homework Policy encourages parents and carers to be involved in their child’s learning. Support with reading and learning number bonds, times tables and spellings is always appreciated.

Work which comes home, or is set through an educational web site, may be intended to consolidate work done in the classroom or to lead children to pursue their own lines of enquiry or to prepare work for a future lesson.

Homework is set each week for all children in Years 1 to 6. Further information will be provided by class teachers.

We offer a range of online learning to all of our children. Year 1 through to Year 4 use Class Dojo. Year 5 and Year 6 also use Google Classroom

In Key Stage 1, we use NumBots to practice addition and subtraction skills.

From Year 2, children use Times Tables Rock Stars to practice their multiplication and division skills

Children in Year 3, 4 and 5 use Mirodo to practice Maths and English skills.

Children in Year 6 can access SATs Companion to help with their end of Key Stage 2 tests.

Across the whole school, we use Spelling Shed to improve our spellings.
