Charity Work and Fund Raising
As a church school we consider those in need, who deserve our support and generosity. As a church school, we take our role to serve others very seriously.
The children themselves, through our School Council, choose which charities we support. The help which our chosen charities provide covers many things, but each charity must do one of the following: -
- Give relief from poverty.
- Help with education.
- Be of benefit to our community.
In the past few years we have supported the following charities.
| Bishop of Blackburn's Harvest Appeal | Comic Relief / Sport Relief |
| Macmillan Cancer Care | Christian Aid |
| Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal | Brain Tumour Research |
| Morafe School, Blomfontein, South Africa | Trinity Hospice |
| BBC Children in Need | Brianhouse Children's Hospice |
We also support a variety of special local fundraising events in our local community as and when they arise.
